The Portal
From the beginning to the end of this sentence, some time has passed and the world is different. The sun’s rays have travelled, the canal’s depths have been reborn, and the moment has dissolved into movement. The Portal reveals itself as a passing moment of revelation, as well as an expression of everything that can’t be held forever. Caught between spontaneous impulses, these artworks emerged like whispers from another reality.
For just one day, this public space becomes a playground for expression. A place and time where young artists aim to conjure the unseen into existence. Connecting the above and below, while appreciating the in-between. Trying to get a grasp of seconds, manifesting a current that is long gone. This momentary exhibition is calling to reach you at this exact time and place. As the portal unfolds, breathe in the moment when the invisible becomes visible. Embrace the pulse of the city, connecting through the river like an artery. Cyclical in the passing of time. Flush, pump as the stream runs down, repeat.
