Someone says: “That looks like a … ”
Maybe this someone stands in front of an artwork
that is reminiscent of something else, perhaps a cloud is being observed. If I think of a cloud, I think of a white hole. I think about how certain clouds are not visible in infrared photographs and how these infrared images are not red in color. And then I imagine how an infrared image of one of my cloud-paintings nonetheless would be red in color. The cloud might no longer be visible but the view beneath would become apparent.
