A multidisciplinary program builds on the works on display and demonstrates how the University of Applied Arts Vienna provides impetus to society across disciplinary boundaries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the Department of Painting and Animated Film, Lisa Slawitz and David Gruber are curating the exhibition \u201cPictoral Engine.\u201d The works of the department\u2019s class are conceived as a unified whole\u2014the big picture, a broad perspective, a variety of perspectives. Originally autonomous images enter into a network of correspondences with one another and form a collective form.
